Dental replacements

Dental replacements restore both the function and the look of missing teeth — as a crown, a bridge, an implant-supported or a removable solution.

Dental replacements

How does the treatment work?

Our aim is that you can choose the ideal replacement with all the information in hand. A wide range is available, both in terms of materials (porcelain, zirconia, precious metal) and of how the restoration is held in place (fixed or removable).

Fixed replacements

Fixed replacements — crowns and bridges — are firmly attached to the existing teeth and cannot be removed by the patient. Crowns are common after tooth loss or root canal treatment and can be made from zirconia or precious metal, among others. Bridges replace missing teeth with the help of the neighbouring ones, restoring optimal chewing and speech.

Implant-supported replacements

Implant-supported replacements offer a stable, natural-looking way to restore missing teeth for the long term. Implantology is one of the most innovative areas of modern dentistry. It can be used for one tooth, several teeth or even a complete arch. It is worth knowing that the various systems are not compatible with each other, and that in the long term high-quality, clinically proven brands are the safest choice. Certain medical conditions can rule implants out; we review these from your medical history form. Given the right conditions and expert placement, the success rate of implants is exceptionally high.

Crowns and bridges built on implants are screw-retained, which makes any later work easier and reduces the risk of inflammation. If needed, the crown can simply be removed and put back.

Removable replacements

Removable dentures are made for partial or complete tooth loss. Whether you are missing a few teeth or a whole arch, modern removable dentures are comfortable to wear and look natural. They offer different solutions depending on how many teeth are missing, where they are missing from, and which method of retention suits you best.

  • Combined denture — unites the advantages of fixed and removable systems: one part is attached to the existing, prepared teeth while the other connects to it through precision attachments, so it comes out easily yet sits securely.
  • Telescopic denture — the ideal answer when only a few of your own teeth remain: these receive special double crowns that hold the denture with a precise fit.
  • Full acrylic denture — an alternative for a complete arch, especially where there is not enough bone for implants and bone grafting is not an option.

Thanks to modern materials and techniques these solutions are now comfortable, durable and natural-looking.

Which solution is right for you?

The purpose of any replacement is to restore missing teeth both functionally and aesthetically. With the right type, the restoration sits securely, is comfortable to use and feels natural in everyday life. Fixed or removable, a well-made replacement supports the long-term health of your mouth and a confident smile.
