About this treatment
The procedure requires a root-treated tooth: if the tooth has been root filled before, our dentists carefully check the quality of that filling and, where necessary, replace it safely.
The glass-fibre post is then placed into the root canal, giving a secure foundation for rebuilding the tooth. The upper part of the post remains in the mouth and forms a solid core onto which a crown — or even a bridge — can be fitted.
The fibre-post technique does more than reinforce the tooth: it provides long-term stability and an aesthetic restoration. Even significantly damaged teeth get a second chance, and the smile stays natural, harmonious and lasting.
