Pressed-ceramic inlays are the most aesthetic and most durable form of inlay. We recommend them when a tooth is more extensively damaged but a crown can still be avoided.
After the decayed tissue is removed we take an impression, and the ceramic inlay is produced in the dental laboratory — a perfect match to your own tooth in colour, shape and translucency.
The finished inlay is bonded in place with a special adhesive. Pressed-ceramic inlays are especially aesthetic and exceptionally durable: they withstand far greater loads than a conventional filling, and their surface does not discolour over time.
