Screw-retained fixation
There are two ways to attach crowns and bridges: cemented and screw-retained. The cemented type works on the same principle as a crown on a natural tooth, but it is now considered outdated, so in our practice we use screw retention exclusively.
With a screw-retained crown a small channel runs through the crown, and fixation happens through it. This method is extremely safe and completely rules out inflammation caused by residual cement. It has a further advantage: if the restoration ever needs attention, the crown can simply be removed by undoing the screw — quickly, precisely and without damaging the restoration.
All-on-4 and All-on-6: restoring a full arch
These modern techniques make it possible to create a fixed, aesthetic restoration even for a completely edentulous jaw, built on just four or six implants. The All-on-4 and All-on-6 systems are the modern, fixed answer to a complete arch of missing teeth. Just four or six precisely positioned implants serve as the foundation for a bridge that restores the entire arch.
The restoration is screw-retained on the implants, so it can be removed easily at any time without damaging it. The result is the most stable, aesthetic and natural-looking restoration available, returning confidence in chewing, speech and smiling while providing a durable, comfortable solution for everyday life.
Implant-supported removable dentures
